Is there any way of refilling ribbon cartridges?

i have a samsung sp2020 photo printer and can only find original cartridges. but they are quite expensive as it would cost at least 25p per photo, whereas i can get them done in the shops from 7p. is there any way of refilling ribbon cartridges myself or at least are there cheaper compatible ribbon cartridges?

  1. Do a web search for "Samsung SP2020 printer cartridge" and see what comes up. MIght work...might not, but its at least a starting point! Good luck :D Below is just one of the sites I found.....
  2. I have dealing with a web site which provides reconditioned ink-jet cartridges (no handling charges) at about 1/3 what new ones cost. The site is www.asapinkjets.com They have a blank space where you can enter the model number of your printer, and they will tell you what is compatible. I think they would also supply carbon-type cartridges.
  3. if it uses ink inside a cartridge you can refill it. but if the ribbon is a thin plastic type film that comes on roll, you can't. hold it to the light and you can see imprints of your photo's on it
