I want to learn a programming language that would be suitable for Point of sale, and Property Manag. systems.?

So basiacally I do not know where to start. I would like to program point of sale, and hotel/condo property managment systems. What programming language should I learn? Thanks

  1. Unless your creating a online version I would say regular old C or C++ should be fine
