What tool is best to use in a Point of Sale Program, to desplay the captured Items?

Hi, I am writing on a Point of Sale Program, Now i am not sure what control to use. A text box or itgrid box, or is there a better one to desplay the items codes and price of the Things the costumer wants to buy , can anyone help me? I hope you understand i dont speack a very good english. Thank you very much. I am using VB 6.
