Citizen Printer

Need tips to get a new hairstyle...?

I have really thick hair and would like to try a style like the one in the link: http://alex-pettyfer.broken-faith.net/Gallery/displayimage.php?album=157&pos=4 Does anyone know how you need your hair cutting to get this sort of effect and what sort of products (i.e. gel) to use, assuming I don't have a printer and can't show this to my hairdresser (I already know that's the best way to go about it). Thanks.

  1. ask for a load of layers and get them to use a razor , not a shaving razor ,, a razor that cuts messy type layers!! and a wax wud probably be the the best to style it !!
  2. Not really sure..the front seems a little longer and thicker and shorter at the back. Does you hairdressing have style books? Maybe you could find a similar one in one of them or magazine. Or else email to someone or somewhere that does have a printer.
  3. ask for a razor cut with lots of layers. Ask the hairdresser you want it to look styled though and they might give you a suggestion on gel. If your hair is really thick ask for it to be thinned out by thinning scissors- really works. Orr if you have a phone able to take photos/camera take a pic of the screen. Look through magazines (any!) and see if theres a similer style. Whatever you do make sure you get the hair cut you want, if needed guide the hairdresser through it and go to someone you trust! (recently had a bad haircut)
