Why can't I install my HP inkjet cp1700 printer to my PC running on Windows Vista?

I have an installer for my HP inkjet cp1700 but every time I try to install it to my PC there is always an error messege telling me that the installation cannot continue. Please I really need to use my printer immedietly.

2. go to Hp.com or something like that they have drivers on the interblag.
3. Make sure you are using Vista drivers. If your printer is more than a few years old, there might not have been Vista drivers for it at the time. Check the manufacturers website for the correct drivers for Vista!
