POS thermal receipt printer Epson TM-T88IV two-color mode?

I just received my POS printer today. I was wondering if anyone else had experience with these printers? Do you know how to change it to 2-color mode? It's currently only printing black. I would like black and red. I know it's capable, I just don't know how to set it. I've looked around on the internet and haven't come up with anything. Thanks in advance.

Hello. I work on POS systems, and though I've never worked with the TM-T88IV, a I have worked with other two-color printers, both inkjet and impact. In those cases, the two-color mode is controlled entirely by the program using the printer. I took a gander at the printer's manual, and there are no settings on it for the mode (that I could see). This makes me think that it definitely must be controlled by your software. Hope this helps. Oh, and if you're using Future POS, I might be able to further help you :)
I have had much experience with these printers. First, you need to do something, then you need to do something else. Then lastly....you do this one thing. Hope I helped! :):):)
For selecting colors/how to print,see the relevant documents for OPOS, the printer driver, and the ESC/POS commands.the first link for the manual is below.the second is for the OPOS driver.You have to have the OPOS driver,then change the color command from within Windows or whatever software you r using to run the printer,by using the right ESC/POS COMMANDS.The printer operation settings, which can be made by using ESC/POS commands.
