I purchase a new dot matrix printer but can not Install it ?

  1. what do you mean you cant install i? do you need drivers or a cable or what.email me and explain in a little more detail what i cannot install it means.also include the name and model number of the printer in your email and i can help you out further.
  2. Try this out click Start--setting-printer and fax- on the menu bar File--add printer-next select only the local printer then click next again next now see the printer namelist after you find it click next and follow the steps. Or use the CD that comes with the printer.
  3. Connect the printer to your system and boot the system. Go to CONTROL PANEL and click on ADD PRINTER. Then if you have XP installed check the AUTOMATICALLY DETECT MY PRINTER. If it is unable to do so it will ask for the CD. Just insert the CD that was given along with the printer and relax. Within no time you will have the printer installed.
