Citizen Printer

Inkjet printers. Can I use different colored paper with them?

I am writing a book but I am not confining it to just one story or style of writing. I just bought a new Brother printer that's an all-in-one kind of thing. printer/copier/scanner/fax/chews gum/does cartwheels, etc... I want to print some chapters with white paper and other chapters on paper that is powder blue. Am I going to run into any technical difficulties because I am using differently colored paper or will it even matter at all? Thanks.

2. I don't think that you'll have any problem printing on the colored paper. The only problem would be if the paper was a darker color then it would be hard to read the print. Good luck!
3. Trust me, the printer has no idea what color the paper is. The only problem, already mentioned, is the way the ink shows up on that color. Assuming that you are only printing black, and that the "blue" is quite light, you should have no problems whatsoever. (We regularly print on bright yellow with an inkjet). 4. Paper is paper. You can use any color you wish to - but think about ink colors. Some may not give the wanted result. If you are using black only it should work out fine. Dark papers do not work. Light colors -even neon's work just fine.
5. You can use any color but black, but I'm still looking for that white printer ink everyone keeps talking about.
