Compatible ink is rarely worth it. Cheaper might also mean that they do not last as long. But STAPLES brand compatible ink is reported to be pretty good. They also give you $3 when you bring your old cartridge to the store. When you buy in the store, and the cartridge doesn't work out, they gladly take it back. JUST HIT THE EASY BUTTON. Sometimes buying on-line is not better.

If you are in the US, have a credit card, you will be able to buy the ink jet cartridges, compatible or not, on line, and they are a lot cheaper than in ANY store. www.amazon.com www.1ink.com/index.asp www.priceless-inkjet.com with most of them, if you buy more than certain amount of ink, they will not charge shipping cost.
