Do all brands of inkjet printers have a corresponding Resetter software ?

After several months of usage, EPSON inkjet printers would give a status message that some part of your printer is near its service life. For some EPSON printer, a resetter software can reset the printer setting. For other printer brands, is there a need for a Resetter software ? If yes, where ( website ) can I download the software ?
