Citizen Printer

Would this ribbon work with my printer?

I just bought this ribbon without checking specs, and I looked at pics and it is different than my ribbon(it is lighter and the strip that separates sections is black on my ribbon, and white on this one), I have a Datacard Imagecard Select(first version, regular) and it says it's for II, III, and IV in the specs. I was wondering if it will work with my printer, like will the sensor just detect that there is a short change in color compared to the actual color? If not is there any possibly way to make this work for my printer? 1. Most likely it is not compatible, but I'm not familiar with the printer in question, so I can't say for sure, but usually if there are differences and specifications as to which printer the ribbon is compatible with, then it usually won't work, at least reliably, with anything else. Best of luck.
