Have you sometimes forgotten to put a Point of Sale in your checking registry only to find out too late?

What is a good way to prevent overdrafts from your checking account short of keeping a few extra thousand in it all the time?

  1. You can get overdraft protection...It costs tho. I always rounded the cents. If the purchase 18.99...when i balanced the book I would take out 19.00 That way I would have a little buffer in there. good luck
  2. Over draft protection. I went on vacation last week and I didn't have as much money in my account as I thought so by time I was back home I was over drafted a few hundred dollars. It takes too much time for me to write down every time I use by debit card.
