Citizen Printer

EPSON T60 or CANON iP4760 which one better ?

I heard that CANON uses "thermal tech", "the ink does not dry up on all papers", "using only canon papers gives superb quality" !! AND EPSON uses "PIEZO tech" , "good quality on all papers", "inks are water resistant", "Refill cannot be done", "Repairing of EPSON printers is very hard" !! I don't know how far these are TRUE ... and I am confused to select one of these two ! Also don't know about cost per ( 4x6 photo) of the two ... Thank you !!

  1. Piezoelectric heads actually do not work on all papers. There are many photo papers which need a slighlty heated ink to set the ink into the resin coating. Personally I would go for the Canon. The cost for a 4X6 depends upon the paper you are using as well as what you are printing. Generally for photo printing you cost is going to be about $0.50 - $1.00 per page. Very high, however if you need the convenience of printing at home - go with the canon.
