My HP deskjet D2530 printer's power button and resume buttons are flashing and it is making a weird noise?

My HP deskjet D2530 printer's power button and resume buttons are flashing and it is making a weird noise what do i do ive done everything the instructions say to do can someone plz help me?

1. It's probably broken, but turn the power off and unplug from electricity and wait 15 minutes, the plug back on and turn back on, this should reset it.
