How do I clear my HP Deskjet printer memory?

It's an F2280 all-in-one. I clicked on 'cancel print' both with the mouse menu and the toolbar menu but it won't cancel. It won't print it either so I can't clear it that way. It will cancel anything I try to print afterwards but it won't allow me to print anything until that first one is gone. How can I get rid of that first document in it's memory? (I've tried switching it off and on)

2. Turning off, doesn't work - you need to UNPLUG it for a few seconds, then plug it back in. That will clear the memory.
