when i call phone banker and it say point of sale debit..What does that mean?

has the money been taken out of my account for payment when it says point of sale debit?

1. that's when you went to the store and swiped your debit card into the credit card terminal(which is know as POS terminal (POS=means point of sale ) and you enter in your pin code -that is a point of sale transaction
