Epson thermal printer doesn't print after pc restart?

Hi I have an epson TM-T88iiP thermal printer running XP Home SP2. It used to work fine but now I have to switch the printer on and off after a pc restart to start printing. To test the printing I use the dir>lpt1 cmd. I borrowed another epson till slip printer, pluged it in (using same driver) and it works every time. I connected the TM-T88ii to another pc and it printed after every restart. I deleted all the epson drivers from my pc and installed it again. The only magor change to my software is IE8, I had some trouble with that and HP software a while back. Hope you can help. Thanx

  1. many time , thermal printer remember doc. in queue . to solve this problem print one doc (label) and when no print go to queue (near the clock in win xp) right click - click on your printer TM-T88iiP and when show a window - right click with every doc and click cancel -ok. switch the printer off for 30 sec. and open again . try to print again . when you modify one doc. take care to not have <out of date> . to calibrate your printer - switch the printer off - keep the feed buton and put the switch on and release the buton . go to printer and faxes - right click with your printer - set as a default printer. all the settings for this printer put only in printer and faxes - TM-T88ii - preferences(printing preferences) maybe you not follow a good software ( nice label is a good one) good luck !
  2. If you can’t find the right HP drivers manually I would recommend just getting a software program that can do it for you. There is a program I use which will find drivers for just about all hardware devices. The best part is it takes a snapshot of your system specifications and matches the right driver to go with it. Perform a free driver scan at: http://www.best-driver-updater.com/company/hp-drivers.html Also, you can get the driver from the official site: http://www.hp.com/
