Saving an object as JPG created in MSPublisher?

Our company logo was created in a 1st generation MacIntosh and was scanned as a .jpg (you see lots of dot matrix). I've now created a new Logo in Publisher using a .jpg and some cool fonts. It's saved as an Object in the Design Gallery in MS Publisher and as a Pub document. How can I save just the image?? To use elsewhere in a website and other print media. I scoured MSOffice online help....nothing. Also where is this Gallery located?

1. MSPublisher 2003 can save as a jpeg file > save as > file type: jpeg im not sure about any other versions.
