Why doesn't the Elite Ribbon Printer Work? Are there better gift ribbon printers?

I have a Elite Ribbon Printing Machine (http://www.eliteribbonprinter.co.uk/index.htm; renamed ARGOX OS-214) and it just can't seem to work right. Does anyone know why it won't feed correctly? Are there any other gift ribbon printing machines that are easier to use and wort purchasing?

1. What type of labels are you printing on ? Are you using genuine manufacturer supplied labels and ribbons for this. What are the symptoms you have ? i used to maintain similar printers, so if you can give more info I might be able to help you.
