  1. I would not use a refill kit i used a refill kit about a year ago, it leaked and messed up my printer. jlr
  2. you tube has a number demos on refilling inks
  3. for refill instruction try this:http://fillserv.com/support/refillinstructions.php, You can get refill instructions on just about any cartridge. The refill amount will be generally between 5-10ml per cartridge for black, and about 3-5 for color. also you can get some good deals if you go with generic inks. i use that in my brother that has lc-51 cartridges, each of mine holds about 10 ml per cartridge, i refill for about 0.30(b) and 0.40(color) a pop, going with the one liter bottle, Geek advice: dump the single color cartridges and go for multi tank, the reason, cheaper to replace one color vs a whole cartridge. my girlfriend uses the same model brother for photo printing and scrapbooking, and the quality comes out higher than the kodaks she was getting at kroger. we did multiple side by sides. The individual color cartridges generally run about 8-15 per depending on printer. cost wise about the same as a single tri color for three colors, but you don't have to replace it when just the red runs out.
  4. Two different model printers came up for the 16. Check your cartridge reference before filling. A note to be aware of. After refilling you will get the low ink warning and you cannot rest the ink levels. Not all models of Lexmark will let you use refills so if it prints be gratefully and accept the constant ink low warning as an irritaion. A tip. Do not insert the needle to deeo as it will penertate the botton of the cartridge and it will leak and you will have to throw it way. Also, you can only refill a number of times, about 3, before you have to buy a new cartrides as they burn out and will give bad print quality. http://www.jettecrefill.com/search.asp?b=1022
