Does anyone know anything about "Continuous Ink Refill Kits"? Are they worth it? Do you save money on the?
cost of buying ink for your printer? I am considering buying one for my HP 5610 all-in-one-printer. I'm sick of running out of ink, and paying a fortune for something that should be cheap that's sold by snooty geeks.

- Those re fillers will clog up your printer and then it will cost you real money to get it fixed. Buy the refills and live with being ripped off like everyone else.
- I've never had good experience with refill kits, or compatible ink cartridges. They either don't work, runs through the jet (so you get smudges), or ink just fades quickly on photos. I have used HP printers, Canon and Lexmark. Canon printer would be my preferred choice because you can buy individual colours (CMYK) separately, rather than having to buy all-colour-in-one cartridges. I'd look for genuine cartridges on eBay, buy bulk, have some spares.
- Hi, Let me tell you this, I have been filling my own ink cartridges for almost 10 years now, it is the best way to save on cartridges, Dont let know hand you the baloney that they are messy etc. After you do it a couple of times it becomes second nature to you. But only buy the refill kits that come with a Needle Not Pump The trick is to by good ink in large bottles like I do and when you are filling the Cartridge, fill the syringe up only once and then you stick the needle into the Cartridge until you feel it stop (do this very slowly) when it stops you are hitting the sponge that the ink holds, so back off just a little bit to give the ink room to go in, now squirt it in very very slowly and if you see it bubble, Stop, and wait a second, then continue until ALL the ink is in it. it is now full This should always be done in a sink and have rubbing alcohol handy to wipe up if you happen to accidently spill a little, (also very warm or hot water will do the same thing, if you get it soon after. Thats it, Good Luck
