- I don't believe that you will find a home printer that will print on anything except flat stock (paper, thin card stock, business card stock, and coated paper). I think you are asking for way too much of any printer, be it ink jet or laser. On top of that, most printers will handle up to 8.5x14 inch paper and some will do 11x17 paper, but I know of none that will handle the odd shapes and strange substrates (the tissue and ribbon) that you are looking for. You are going to have to go to a specialized printer of such items for that, and probably NOT your local printer, because the equipment needed is highly specialized.
- for your ribbons you could get an ink stamp made with your personalization and then just stamp the ribbon a few times, you could probably also do that on the cake boxes
- More and more brides are willing to do things by themselves but your projects will be hard to pull off at home. To print names and event date on the favor boxes, you may need silver or gold foil, which is different from the ink you need to print the ribbons. If you are willing to shop online, there are several sites that offer favor boxes as well as printed ribbon. Check out the link below. Good luck with your wedding planning!
