Helpless! Please answer before 5pm!?

Last year, I purchased a color ink-jet printer-a Hewlett-Packard DeskJet. Until recently the printer worked flawlessly. Lately, however, when I go to print a document or letter, the ink is smearing and the print quality is poor. What can I do to solve this solution?

2. 1) clean printer inkjet heads - a feature of the printer 2) replace ink cartridges (they may have some clog/dry ink
3. Clean it, the procedure to do so is documented in your user manual, this is just a 'thing' with ink jets in general.
4. go into the printer options and click clean print head or nozzle head or any of the cleans really in the matinence section
