  1. Yes, it will work. When you get the cable, just turn it on and Windows will detect it and install the correct drivers. Most manufacturers don't include the cable with the printer. (If it doesn't, simply go to the HP website and download the drivers)
  2. The printers do NOT ship with USB cables. You have to buy them separate. It's lame but that's how they do it. You want an A/B USB Cable. click on the link below to see what the ends should look like.
  3. Most computers are compatible with most printers, chances are pretty good that it will work. 99% sure :D
  4. Yes it will definatelty work. If Windows does not recognise is you will need to visit the Support and Drivers page at www.hp.com However, judging by the model number it is quite old so Windows will have a driver for it built in. You have a choice with this printer of using a parallel cable (old fashioned printer cable going into the very wide multi pin socket on the pack of the PC) or a USB cable. Your choice.
  5. Check with a local Staples or Best Buy if you want absolute certainty. But it's never mattered what printer I hooked up to my computer. I've had six different printers, by three different brands, and they've all worked. You just need to have either the installation CD that comes with it, or you can go to the brand's website (in this case, Hewlett Packard's homepage) and download the proper driver, which is really quick and easy. But yeah, you'll definitely need that cable first.
  6. Ya im prety sure it will work. If it dosnt you might be needing the driver for it. You can downlaod the driver on the following link. http://www.nodevice.com/driver/Deskjet_632c/get38983.html For windows XP Media center simply download the driver for Win XP. Cheers Let me know
  7. you won't know unless you get the cable and hook it up. If you have an older printer, you will need a cable that will plug into your printer, then connect it to the printer port on your computer. You can get the cable at just about any store that carries printers. Walmart may even have it. If not, try Radio Shack
