I have a Hewlett Packard printer model hp deskjet 845c?

When i type and send to print it goes through fast and comes back blank, where am i going wrong?

1. You cartridges have dried out, replace the cartridge. A cartridge will dry out if it hasn't been used in more than about 30 days, less if you live in a dry climate. Cartridges need to be used on a fairly regular basis in order to stay in good working condition.
