Citizen Printer

i have a hewlett-packard deskjet 840c...my wife recently printed on it, and now i can't!!!?

when i try to print now, i get this error message saying the printer is out of paper...there's about 1/4 inch of paper in there, but i always get the same error message...i've checked the cables and it's still in lpt1, and it can run a self-test, just not a test off the 'puter...i always get that stupid error message...HELP???!!!

1. Try uninstalling it and reinstall it.
2. OK, it's nothing, it's just the paper sensor need to cleaned to sense the paper again. just try to clean it with any ethyl alcohol.
3. make sure it is not jammed up and there should be a button on top of your printer stating you loaded paper, press the buttom and that should do the trick. If that does not work cancel print job and try again.
