Citizen Printer

I have an HP Hewlett Packard Deskjet 648c and need help.?

I have all of the cables and everything put into the computer but yet it wont turn on or anything. My aunt lended me this printer. I push the on/off button but nothing happens. Does it need batteried or something?? Please help!!! The printer also does not have a port where you can plug it into the wall outlet.

1. shouldnt need batteries... are you sure its plugged into the wall as well as the computer?
2. Well, check the USB and power cables first. Did you try just printing something? Maybe the on/off switch is just malfunctioning.
3. he mate check if the software is installed properly and you are using the right ports for your computer
4. I'm going to assume that you've got the printer plugged into the power outlet. Looks like either the printer is not receiving power or the it is bad. Check to see that the outlet and power cable is working. If it's the power cable, you may be able to get a new one at a local computer shop.
