Citizen Printer

does the HP Deskjet F4235 or HP Deskjet F2210 printer come with USB cords?

i was wondering if either of the Deskjet F4235 or the Deskjet F2210 printers come with USB cords. i've seen some people say that you have to buy one.

  1. No. Unless a retailer is running a special, USB cords are sold separately because of the relative high cost of including them. Since all printers take the same type of USB cable, many consumers already have the USB cable from the printer they are replacing. Rather than including the cost of this cable into the price of the printer, they are sold separately so the customer does not have to pay for one when upgrading their printer if they don't need one.

  3. No, but NOT because of the high price of including them. It only costs about 50 cents to produce one. They don't include one because they want to save every penny, and they want you to buy one at an incredibly marked up price. However, this may be too late for you. I suspect you went to a store that had them on sell today.
  4. nope i picked up a f2210 today but i haven't had a chance to play with it yet
  5. monoprice.com for reasonably priced USB cables.
