Can an iMAC be used with a HP Deskjet Printer?

I'm not very good at all with computers so any help would be appreciated... I have an iMac and a laser printer that used to be used on my old PC. Is there anyway that I could use the printer with the iMAC or any special lead that i could buy to link it up? Thanks.

1. That depends in if the printer has a mac's verison of their diriver. But I can't tell you if they do unless I can get the printer's make and model. You can look it up your self by going here, http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html
2. It should work. I have an iMac that is hooked to my old HP inkjet printer. When the people at the Mac shop transfered the files from my old Dell PC, they downloaded new drivers from HP's website.
