Would a LED dot matrix be better in church?

For hymns and prayers. They could save on books and the display would be more easy for the congregation to see and keep up with like karaoke.

You could have a scrolling marquee of the pastors last point going by like the performance stats on Fox NFL Sunday updates.
Perhaps it would be, but on the other hand there's a higher proportion of the elderly amongst regular church attendees and they really need something individual they can manipulate until they can read the text. I imagine there's something a bit culturally suspect about a big, glow-y singalong board in church as well. Personally I think churches are best kept for their cultural and architectural value, which might not suit an LED matrix. Might suit a more modern place, though.
