How can you tell if a printers inkjet?

I have an HP Officejet J5740 All-In-One. Is this an inkjet?

2. Yes, if it were a laser printer it would say laserjet.
3. It is an inkjet. Not all Officejets are inkjets, but yours is. For future reference and inkjet, nowadays, consists of at least 4 small color cartridges. A color laser printer consists of at least 4 very large cartridges compared to the inkjet. But I'm curious why you need to know this. Because there are some things you can do with a inkjet that you can't do with a laserjet and vice versa.
