need to reinstall printer; cd lost. HP Deskjet 5740 Color Inkjet. need to buy cd or reinstall w/out it?

1. Download the drivers from the manufacture's website.
2. No...you don't need to buy the CD, I have another HP All-in one printer and when I need to reinstall it I visit the HP website for the drivers. Here, I found you the right page to get those drivers: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=357202&lang=en&os=228 just click on the full driver :) Notice: this link is for a Windows XP computer. You can choose another operative system if you don't have Win XP
3. You should be able to find the driver and software on cnet.com.........

6. Go to this site, http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html?pageDisplay=drivers enter the name of the printer and download the driver.
7. Go to www.hp.com Click on Software & Driver Downloads Enter your printer info and it should give you directions on downloading and installing the driver.
