how to make dot matrix printer fast -printing foxpro through windows Xp?

i am using dot matrix printer for our billing.the software we using is foxpro 2.6. now we have upgrade our computer to windosXp.there is a very long delay to take print invoices.

1. There is no connection with windows XP & to your Software. Windows XP will defenetly not affected your printing speed. Normal speed for your printing the invoice through software is that much only, i Guess so. Which software you are using now? Is that Exposoft ? R u from Salem?
2. Probably Windows is using a generic dot matrix printer driver which is proving to be slow. You could enquire of the printer manufacturer whether they can provide an up-to-date driver.
