I want to print word document on dot matrix printer? What changes I have to make ?

- You don't have to make any changes (beyond plugging a dot matrix printer in and installing drivers for it)
- U can print by installing dot matrix driver. Windows will auto config so it can print on ur dot matrix. U can print only text format as graphics part is not visible.
- Add a printer to your printer queue. Choose 'generic', then the dot-matrix printer on LPT1 If you have a laser printer that is your normal printer, then do not make your DMP the default. When you 'print' from Word, just choose the DMP over the default.
- Dot matrix printers tend to be older and may not Plug-N-Play the way modern printers do, so you might have to install the printer driver. Also, the driver disk must have a driver that works with the operating system (XP? Vista?) This, too, could be problematic. You could also try the printer manufacturer's web site to see if they have more up-to-date drivers. Beyond that, some of Word's formatting features may not be supported by the DMP. Good luck.
