I'm having Epson FX-2175 model dot matrix printer. Some lines are missing while taking printout. Why?

I'm having Epson FX-2175 model dot matrix printer. Some lines are missing while taking printout continuously . Why? any printer setting problem? or any other problem? Can anybody tell me? Thanks in advance. I'm having Epson FX-2175 model dot matrix printer. The printer is 6 months old only. Daily 10 to 15 sheets only taking printout. 1. Get the printer head serviced.
2. It may be a broken pin in the printhead or it could be the signal/ribbon cable leading up to the printhead. Are the missing lines continuous across the entire width of the page or do they cut in and out? If the print cuts in and out then the fault is with the signal cable. If it's continuous, then it may be either.
