Are those printer do-it-yourself refill kits worth buying? For $10 against the cartridge which is like $30?

I got a dell printer and was wondering if those do-it-yourself refill kits that you can buy online are worth it. Is it confusing to use or messy? They say with these kits you can refill your cartridge like 3-5 times. I got an A920 printer (for black ink)

1. Only if you do it Properly and your printer is out of warranty just buy generic ones they can cost as little as some of the refills if you don't do it right it can be very messy also.
2. Experience has taught me NO. I have tried generic cartridges with fair to bad results. I guess it depends on how much patience you have and how desperate you are to save money.
