Epson stylus inkjet printer NX400? it has a MEMORY card slot? PLEASE HELP ME!?

Okay so i bought this model...it has a memory card slot...but when i ave it hooked to my vaio (sony laptop) will it have an option to load onto the computer or is it only for the printer? if you need more details just ask

Once the printer is correctly installed, with all the drivers and software loaded. When you place a memory card into the slot on the printer, it will show up as a new drive in Windows Explorer. You can drag and drop the photos into a folder on your C drive if you like. You can also drag and drop photos that are on your computer, back onto the memory card should you choose. Most third party software will also be able to see the memory card, listed as a drive letter on the file menu when you look for a photo. The memory card reader will respond just like an empty DVD drive when you try to access the drive letter in Windows Explorer or other programs, when there is no memory card in the slot.
