I have a friend who leaves his Laserjet print on all night in his home office, primarily because he believes that turning on and off the printer causes wear and tear on the printer's electronic parts. I'm looking for hard facts that support either his point (he's an engineer) or mine that today's modern electronics are designed to be turned on/off regularly. do you think im underpaid? Im a computer tech in the new england area. I fix laptops, desktop computers and impact printers, primarily laptops.
