I want to use dot matrix printer fonts while printing my excel worksheet please help? I am using TVS Ms 245 dot matrix printer to print my excel worksheets. I am not in a position to use the DMP fonts say Draft/serif etc. when i print my worksheet. The fonts i am using while making the spread sheet is only coming. The manual says to get DMP printer fonts I have to use FONT LOCk in on position. But I am not able to find or configure Please advise how to get DMP fonts rather than the computer fonts when printing. Thank you

True Type font that looks like alphanumeric LEDs? For a design project, I need to find a TrueType font that looks like an alphanumeric LED display. You know, the type with several segments radiating out from the center that can display any letter or digit -- not just the 7-segment display used for numbers. Failing that, is there a TrueType font that looks like a dot-matrix display? I've found sites that have free TrueType fonts to download, but trying to find the one I want among more than 6000 possible fonts is a bit tricky. Thanks for any help.

Windows XP Pro Font Question? Always had nice smooth easy to read fonts on my various windows and program screens until I had a power failure. 30 seconds later on boot up all my fonts are whimpy thin - almost dot matrix looking. I recall a font smoothing option box to check somewheres, but I cannot find it. That may not be it either. It must be a windows function as my desktop icons and all windows headers are all thin and hard to read. Even in Excel all the numbers in the cells all have the same thin appearance and they used to be easy to read. What can I do to make my fonts bolder, thicker, more full and legible? Thank you, Tom

What is the Font for receipt usually used ? Hi, I am really confuse right now. I am making an application for retail shop (POS), I am using an EPSON printer TM-U220. It's a dot matrix printer. These days, I collected some receipt from other store as samples. I count the columns, most of them have 40 columns. I've tried every font that my computer has with font size 9 and 10, but none of them can reach 40 columns. And some of the words of the fonts that I tried with font size 9 become hard to read. Is it because my printer only has 9 pins ? Why wont my printer print correctly? I have a Panasonic KX-P1150 dot matrix printer, which we have used at my office for a long time. Well the printer is only about 6 months old, but we use the dot matrix style due to ink is cheaper and we print alot of receipts for our customers with it. Last week I attempted to install a HP Officejet printer/fax/scanner which I use for my fax machine, but we needed it for printing other types of documents. I had trouble w/installing that HP and since the attempt, my dot matrix is not printing correctly. When it prints, the information prints slightly on top of each other, and also the words are larger than they should be making it hard for my customers to read it! It still prints, but its as if I have some how changed the font on it only when I print something from a website, which is where my receipt information comes from. I can go into my documents and print anything I have saved there without a problem. Can anyone help me to figure out the settings on this thing? or anything may be helpful!

What was this old (80's) PC game called? I used to have this old Tandy computer a while back (I believe it was made in '85), running some old version of MS-DOS. There was one game I basically played every day, known only as "wwi". You'd start by typing "wwi" into the command prompt and hitting enter. It was a left-right side-scroller game where you flew around in a little biplane. The ground was covered in snow, and there were little cities (I think) scattered around the terrain. The object of the game, I believe, was to take off and fly around, dropping bombs on all of the cities. When a bomb hit the terrain, it left a little crater in it and with enough bombs you could remove as much of the terrain as you wanted. There were tall mountains on the far left and right sides of the map to keep you in the play area. The runway you took off from was on a plateau-type thing in the center of the map, with a building and a fuel tank behind you. There was also a two-player mode, and a mode with an AI-controlled biplane trying to drop bombs on you as well. Does anybody know what game that was, or what it was called, or any information on it at all? On a related note, there was a couple of other programs/games I played on that computer... One was a Centipede clone, which just used various font characters as the objects in the game. For instance, a spade character was used as the mushrooms, I believe. The second one was a sign and banner creater program that let you add text and stock images to a sign/banner, then print it out, either on one page or across multiple pages as a banner (since the computer was hooked up to a dot-matrix printer where all of the paper was connected, this worked out quite well). Does anyone have any information or know the names of either of those programs either (In addition to the first game I mentioned)? Thanks!

Saving an object as JPG created in MSPublisher? Our company logo was created in a 1st generation MacIntosh and was scanned as a .jpg (you see lots of dot matrix). I've now created a new Logo in Publisher using a .jpg and some cool fonts. It's saved as an Object in the Design Gallery in MS Publisher and as a Pub document. How can I save just the image?? To use elsewhere in a website and other print media. I scoured MSOffice online help....nothing. Also where is this Gallery located?
