Where can I get a Windows 7 compatible HP 900 Inkjet printer driver? I downloaded the driver directly from the HP website. I open the .exe file, it shows the extracting process but the printer doesn't show up in the "Devices and Printers" folder. The printer's plugged in but Windows Update didn't offer any drivers. It recognized the printer but its status was "Needs troubleshooting" I searched online for drivers, still nothing. I tried setting the compatibility to windows vista and windows xp on the .exe file I got from HP, it still didn't work.

Please recommend solid HP inkjet printer with Wi-Fi for mostly documents? I need to replace my HP Deskjet 930c soon. It prints fine but I have to grab the paper on the way out before the broken piece tries to eat it. I've had 2 HP printers, each lasting over 10 years. Also, they seem to have the most Wi-Fi choices near $150. To replace the 930c, the HP site recommends Deskjet 6940 (about $100), Deskjet 6988 ($130) or Deskjet 6940dt ($150). The "dt" model includes a duplexer, extra paper tray and full-size cartridges. The other 2 models come with "starter" cartridges only. I don't print much in color, but need borderless when I do. I read HP 02 series cartridges dry out if not used frequently, so I'm trying to stay away from them. I've read reviews on the 6940 and they range from "it's the best printer I've ever had" to "it's defective, the paper jams and it stops recognizing the cartridges". If you have any experience with these printers, or can offer a recommendation - even a different brand - please do.
